Yes, as in the previous review.. Cooling, powdery ( talc ) , masculine and refreshing touch of menthol. I am more used to the ITALIAN version of Floid which is lighter in color, more mentholated and with a much longer lasting scent. Usually applied with a spray attachment and available in large bottles - used everywhere in tradional Italian barbershops. This is a close second in my opinion.. but nothing beats either version for that barberhshop experience. I think of the Spanish Floid for winter an Italian Floid for Spring and Summer. I find it too heavy and slightly musky for humid Summer weather. I'm not sure all girlfriends will like this.. unless they approve of your Aqua Velva or Old Spice.. if your partner is into Euro retro lifestyle ..then this is the one to have.. along with your Linetti brilliantine. This pairs well with SGB red or blue pomade.
Floid Suave Aftershave (4/1/10)
This is a fantastic cooling aftershave with a fruity, powdery, slightly sweet but masculine fragrance. Great value for money. I've got a massive fragrance collection, a lot of them expensive. The least expensive is this one and Pinaud Clubman, but I'd rate these two very highly. Both old school masculine aromas, but my girlfriend loves them.
I'd give this 5 stars if the fragrance lasted a bit longer, but I'm being unfair on the product, because it is an aftershave and not claiming to be a cologne. But dont let that put you off.... just apply more! Great product. |
