Pomades are classical hairstyling and hair care products.
Especially between the 1930s and the 1950s pomades were very popular.
They are usually refined with natural ingredients, such as coconut oil, olive oil and lanolin. Pomades do not glue the hair as hair spray does. And they do not dry it, as many hair gel products do. So they provide not only the hair, but also the scalp, with moisture and hair- and skin care.
